A2Z and sketchabilities

Hi, im am so behind on my blog posts. I have tried a few times but have been having trouble with blogger on a couple of occasions so gave up. Seeing as its playing nice today (well for the moment) i might just scheduale a heap of posts for this week. Firstly here are 4 canvases i have done. I have put them in the hallway to the kids room to brighten it up a little for them.

Now here is A2Z scraplets challenge of the month. We teamed up with white with 1. White and latte. I dont usually like doing colour challenges but really enjoyed this one.

I painted the shell scraplets and then embossed them to give them a sandy feel.

This was the first sketch of the month at sketchabilities. I used a paint glaze on the butterfly and used my pitt pens to colour in the flowers.

Scrap Your Story and some challenges

Hi, i have some layouts to share with you today. I have had a very creataive last couple of days and have enjoyed getting some scrapping in. I think thats what i love about this colder weather, its too inviting to stay inside in the warmth. I have some challenges to share with you today.

This first one, that i love, is for Once upon a sketch. The theme this month was numbers and i knew exactly what i was going to do. I had had this layout in my head for a while now. I have my journalling hidden on my journalling tag.

This next layout is from purple pumkins sketch of the month........

This layout is a colour challenge from A2Z scraplets, yellow, blue, black and white. I painted up some chipboard clouds.......

and lastly but certainly not least is this weeks challenge at scrap your story, which is about favourites. It can be a favouite photo, place, of even a favouites list. My DT sample is of my favourite car. Ok my fav car is sitting in the shed getting a makeover but my layout is on my favouite car model.

Little Scrapbook Shop and some challenges

Hi, just thought i would pop on and share with you my latest design team layout for The Little Scrapbook Shop. In this layout from their shop i have used some washi tape and fabric tape. The fabric tape i loved sooo much as it was so easy to ruffle and scrunch up giving instant texture. I have also used a postcard on here which i am loving in the layering process, and these gorgeous sunflowers (my fav)!! I have layered up a doiley and pin to make my own embellishment. The choices are endless in the store. This month they have 20% off trinkets.
