BIG POST!!!!

Hi everyone i have just blogged on the A2Z scraplets blog today so thought i better do an update over here as well. How is your weekend going??

This first layout is one i shared at the start of the month over at A2Z. How cute is that bird and tree?? I also used A2Z splatter stenclet....

A2Z Scraplets September Release Pt1.

Hi everyone. The september A2Z Scraplets were released today. I had so much fun playing with them. 

The first one i have here is the title "Just Be You". I had these pictures sitting on my desk and i have to say they were just perfect for the title. 

I painted the title black and swiped some yellow paint over it to blend in with the page.

The next new release is this "top ten"

I wrote my top ten on it and just swiped a bit of paint around the edges.

The next new release is the photo frame.I had had these photos sitting on my desk for a while, not sure how to scrap them. When i pulled this new release out of its packet my hubby said you could use those footy photos!! Yes great idea....

I painted the frame black. I have also added the good times sign from the A2Z shop...

The best thing to hold onto is each other

It was my first design team post today over at A2Z scraplets. I had a parcel arrive this week and got busy creating straight away. I used this scalloped border on this layout as well as the splatter scraplet stencil.

I cant believe its been a few months since i have posted on my poor neglected blog. I think it may be nearly time for a makeover on here though, when i get the time. I have a few more layouts on here to share it is certainly good to be scrapping again though.

Kraft it up and a sneak

Ok, so the last monthly challenge i have done. Wanted to get so much more done this month, but it hasnt worked out as i planned, lol. I have been sick all week and am hoping the kids dont get it next...

anyway here is one i have done for kraft it up. My take on a vintage page, i would call it modern vintage though...

and here is a closeup of the next challenge at SYS......which will go up tomorrow..

Scrap Your Story and some challenges

Hi, i have some layouts to share with you today. I have had a very creataive last couple of days and have enjoyed getting some scrapping in. I think thats what i love about this colder weather, its too inviting to stay inside in the warmth. I have some challenges to share with you today.

This first one, that i love, is for Once upon a sketch. The theme this month was numbers and i knew exactly what i was going to do. I had had this layout in my head for a while now. I have my journalling hidden on my journalling tag.

This next layout is from purple pumkins sketch of the month........

This layout is a sketch from sketchabilities.........

This layout is a colour challenge from A2Z scraplets, yellow, blue, black and white. I painted up some chipboard clouds.......

and lastly but certainly not least is this weeks challenge at scrap your story, which is about favourites. It can be a favouite photo, place, of even a favouites list. My DT sample is of my favourite car. Ok my fav car is sitting in the shed getting a makeover but my layout is on my favouite car model.

Little Scrapbook Shop and some challenges

Hi, i have a few challenge shares for you, nothing like leaving it to the last minute. But first i have this layout i have done from my dt kit from The little scrapbooking shop. I have used a cuute lttle ballet charm and used it to make a flower.........

I have layered up some fabric, sewn the charm on and added a little gesso to make it blend in with the page, easy as and very effective.

Scrap Your Story #8

This weeks challenge at Scrap Your Story is stitching.....I loved machine stitching on my layouts, but dont have a running machine at the moment, i do miss it. I also love hand stitching on my layouts, but for this challenge i popped a stiched pocket on my layout...

Little Scrapbook Shop and some challenges

Hi, just thought i would pop on and share with you my latest design team layout for The Little Scrapbook Shop. In this layout from their shop i have used some washi tape and fabric tape. The fabric tape i loved sooo much as it was so easy to ruffle and scrunch up giving instant texture. I have also used a postcard on here which i am loving in the layering process, and these gorgeous sunflowers (my fav)!! I have layered up a doiley and pin to make my own embellishment. The choices are endless in the store. This month they have 20% off trinkets.
