New layouts and a reminder

I had a pretty scrappy day yesterday. I managed 6 layouts from wed arvo to thurs arvo (and 7 loads of washing!!) I have started getting the kids flu symptoms, it was bound to happen so i tackled some older kim archer classes i had that i had put away for a rainy day (LOL when my mind wont work) I was pretty happy because i was using up a lot of older paper and photos. If you are a bit squeamish dont look too hard at the photos in the first one!! These are all mostly of makayla, when she was born and her hospital time, and they all are a very different style than what i would normally do, which is good as well.



I was using up a lot af old thickers as well!!





I didnt take a very good photo of this one sorry.




I cant believe this was nearly 4 years ago now!






It seems like such a long time ago......

More layouts.

Just thought that i would update a few layouts. I have had both the kids sick at home for a week now and it still isnt over, so i havent got as much scrapping in as usual. Poor little things, they have had ear and throat infections.

It was my birthday on saturday and i had a great day. I spent saturday morning doing a class with melleny ams. Had a great time and was really good to meet her!! I havent put photos on my layouts yet but will share when i do. I got spoilt by everyone and got some lovely pressies. Chris cooked me a roast lamb for tea, which was yummy and i sat back and watched a couple of movies to finished the day off. I watched Its complicated which was really good and also sherlock holmes, which has jude law in it. He is gorgeous!

Anyway onto the layouts, this first one is from last weeks postcards challenge, where we went to japan. I cut the frame out and mounted it which you cant tell in the photo. We had to have some paper folding on there so i folded a little fan!





This was the 2nd layout i done from the cogs and bots kit. Really fun papers. I also got a couple of cards from the rest of the kit.


This was the word challenge from challenge heaven. The word to include in your title was kisses and you had to have sewing on your layout.

And this is from this weeks postcard challenge. We went to greenland!! I was inspired by the white in the picture and the bright houses in the village.

Cyber crop

Its my first cyber crop being on the wicked dt. We have some great challenges and games planned. Hope to see you there.

Cogs and bots

I recieved my first kit off Wicked princesses today. The cogs and bots kit! It was bright it was boyish and it was lots of fun. Of course i had a play and here is the first layout i came up with.
Can you see the cute robot stamp, gorgeous and also one of krissys poppies!!!!






I have another half finished and also a couple of cards half done. There was that many bits in this kit that so far i have only used a stamp that wasnt in the kit.

New Layouts

Here are just a couple of layouts i have done over the last couple of days. Here is Makayla in not happy. Lol i do get that look a lot! This was done from a sketch at annas craft cupboard.




And this was done for a challenge at challenge heaven. It was a theme challenge, and the theme was mothers and you had to include 3 photos.

New Layouts

Hi, i have some new layouts to share. I done these over the weekend. I have spent the last couple of days with a migraine so havent done any scrapping yet :(
This first one is a colour challenge for wicked princesses and scrap the girls. You have double the chances of winning a prize for it!!





This one is the monthly sketch over at wicked princesses (I love this bo bunny paper)


This was last weeks entry for postcards from around the world from scrapboutique. The destinaton was New york. The patchwork part i was making for a frame and as i was making it was inspired by the blue and red in it and thought Wow that will go well for the postcards challenge. So onto a page it went and now i will have to make another.

These are the frames i was making. One for my mum and i for my Mil. I was also making one for myself but we all now where that went now, dont we.

My Great News.

Can you believe it i got put on the wicked princesses design team. I am so excited and still cant believe it!!! Kate was also put on. Well done kate! I think i had to read the email krissy sent me 3 or 4 times before it started sinking in LOL. I was sure that i wasnt going to get it.

Anyway i havent done much scrapping at all this week. I have done a couple of mothers day presents the last couple of days and i loved them so much that i am going to make myself one. I wont show yet though just in case mum pops on to read. I am working on my postcards from around the world at the moment so hopefully i finish it off tonight.

I will leave with you the layouts i have done from a kit from Wicked Princesses. Have i mentioned before that krissy sells great kits?? Well she does as well as her doilies that i absolutly love. Anyway these layouts are from a vintage kit that has sold out but there are still plenty of other ones in the store.

I done a lot of cutting with this kit, something that i love doing but havent done much of lately. The little bird house is cute and you can see in the close ups i made little flowers out of the ribbon.








On this page i scrunched up 4 large flowers, sprayed them with glimmermist to make 1 large flower. I made a couple of more ribbon flowers on here. As you can see her kits come with lots of bits and pieces to embelish your layouts.

To the south of france this week in postcards from around the world. I was really inspired by the shabby, girly postcard that had lots of roses on it. This is what i came up with.



Last weekend was wicked princesses CC, and these are the 2 i came up with. The first was a sketch challenge.....

and this was a tecnique challenge. Sewing and distressing, two of my fav.

Well thats all i have to share with you and i cant believe i only got one layout done this week. I have been a bit busy, but hopefully will get a bit done tonight. Krissy has some great challenges and tutorials up over at WP for national scrapbooking day, so hopefully i get a couple done.
